AWE Touring-to-Track Conversion Kit for 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R FK8

Bought the AWE Touring Edition for your FK8 Civic Type R and now want the full Track Edition experience? The AWE Touring-to-Track Conversion Kit makes the switch without buying a whole new exhaust. It replaces the Touring system's 180 Technology® muffler with AWE's straight Track rear section, mounted on its own hanger frame.

The front of your system stays where it is: the integrated 3-inch front pipe and the mid pipes. Unclamp the muffler, hang the straight section on the factory mounts, then reattach your trident merge and three 4.5-inch tips. With the drone-cancelling chambers gone, the K20C1 gets the louder, rawer Track Edition voice with a sharper edge under boost and more crackle on lift.

Think it through before you order. The Track Edition drones at highway speed and AWE does not accept Track Edition parts back for sound preference, so keep the Touring muffler in the garage if you might want the quieter setup again.

AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Fitment Notes

• Only for an AWE Touring Edition cat-back on the FK8 Civic Type R (3015-42666, 3015-43000 or 3015-49333). It is not a standalone exhaust.
• Direct bolt-on to the factory mounting points; no tune required.
• AWE does not accept returns of the Track Edition for sound preference, so please be sure of the sound level you want before ordering.
