Overview

The AWE Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit for the EJ25 tones down an AWE Track Edition on the Subaru WRX STI without replacing the whole exhaust. It fits the Track system on the 2015-2021 WRX STI sedan and the 2011-2014 Impreza WRX and WRX STI sedans, and it adds AWE's patented 180 Technology® rear mufflers tuned specifically for the EJ25.

Inside each muffler, exhaust pulses pass through tuned ports into reflection chambers and rejoin the flow 180 degrees out of phase, cancelling the droning frequencies at cruise. The straight-through core keeps flow high, so the STI keeps its rumble and crackles while the cabin goes quiet on the highway.

It is a rear-section swap: unbolt the straight Track sections, hang the mufflers on the factory mounts, move your 102mm AWE tips across and clamp it up. Built from U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel in-house at AWE in the USA.

Does it work without an AWE exhaust?
No. It converts an AWE cat-back already on the car.

Are tips included?
No. You move your existing AWE tips over.

Is it legal?
The cat-back bolts on behind the factory catalytic converter and leaves every emissions device in place, and AWE lists the system as 50-state legal with no tune required. Sound limits still vary by state, so check the rules where you drive.

Fitment Notes

Only for the AWE Track Edition cat-back on EJ25 sedans. It is not a standalone exhaust.
2015-2021 FA20 WRX owners need the VA WRX Track-to-Touring kit instead. Sedans only.
Direct bolt-on to the factory mounting points; no tune required.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
