Overview

Running the AWE Track Edition on your 2015-2021 Subaru WRX and finding it too loud for the commute? The AWE Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit turns it into the Touring Edition without buying a whole new exhaust. It replaces the straight Track rear sections with the two tailored Touring rear mufflers that AWE tuned for the FA20.

The mid section of the Track and Touring systems is the same, so this is a rear-section swap. Unbolt the straight sections, hang the mufflers on the factory mounts, move your 102mm AWE tips across and clamp it up. The WRX keeps its deep BOXER® tone and shift crackles but loses the highway drone.

The mufflers are built from U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel in-house at AWE in the USA. Keep the Track sections and you can swap back for a track day.

Does it work without an AWE exhaust?
No. It converts an AWE cat-back already on the car.

Are tips included?
No. You move your existing AWE tips over.

Is it legal?
The cat-back bolts on behind the factory catalytic converter and leaves every emissions device in place, and AWE lists the system as 50-state legal with no tune required. Sound limits still vary by state, so check the rules where you drive.

Fitment Notes

Only for the AWE Track Edition cat-back on the FA20 VA WRX. It is not a standalone exhaust.
EJ25 WRX STI owners need the EJ25 Track-to-Touring kit instead.
Direct bolt-on to the factory mounting points; no tune required.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
