If the AWE Track Edition on your 2022-2026 Volkswagen GTI is more than you want for daily driving, the AWE Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit is the fix. It swaps the Track Edition's straight mid section for the Touring mid section with AWE's patented drone-canceling 180 Technology® resonator, giving you the sophisticated, drone-free Touring Edition character without buying a whole new exhaust.

180 Technology® cancels the problematic frequencies that cause drone, leaving unlocked performance and an AWE signature note, and AWE says its internals will not break down and degrade over time. The section is handcrafted from CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel with a .065" wall, manufactured in-house by AWE, and fits in place of the Track mid section using the clamps already on your system. Like the rest of the suite, it is backed by AWE's Lifetime Warranty and No Check Engine Light Guarantee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this kit work without an AWE exhaust?
No. It replaces the straight mid section of the AWE Track Edition cat-back for the 2022-2026 GTI. It is not a standalone exhaust.

Will it stop the drone?
That is what it is for. The 180 Technology® resonator cancels the frequencies that cause drone, giving you AWE's drone-free Touring Edition.

Can I go back to Track later?
Yes. Keep the original straight Track mid section, or see the Touring-to-Track Conversion Kit.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
