The complete CAPRISTO high-performance system is engineered to enhance power, driveability, and sound quality while also significantly reducing weight. True to CAPRISTO's philosophy, this system delivers both an aggressive exhaust note during acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving. Dyno testing has shown a notable improvement of 25 horsepower with this system.
The system features vacuum-actuated valve flaps that adjust based on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves remain closed, producing a deeper exhaust note. Under wide-open throttle, the valves open to unleash the full range of the engine's sound.
The exhaust valves are controlled by backpressure and can be managed using the included Valve Controller Remote. This remote allows the driver to open the flaps permanently, bypassing the in-series control. When closed using the remote, the in-series control unit resumes management of the exhaust valves, providing precise control based on personal preferences.
CAPRISTO Exhaust systems are meticulously engineered at our factory in Germany using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling. Each system is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. This alloy was chosen for its exceptional sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability, closely matching the performance of Inconel used in F1.
PERFORMANCE HEADERS: The manifolds are custom-designed with modified pipe routing compared to stock manifolds, optimizing exhaust flow.
SPORTS CATS 250 CELL: The high-performance sports catalytic converters feature a 250-cell per square inch substrate, crafted from premium materials to enhance airflow and boost performance. The lower cell count allows for larger holes, improving exhaust gas flow. To ensure optimal performance, CAPRISTO Sports Cats are housed in 5.2-inch packages to maximize exhaust gas flow and compatibility with the valved exhaust system.
IMPORTANT:
- The exhaust system is designed for direct installation into existing OEM mounting points.
- Recommended for off-road and track use only.
- Replacing your OEM catalytic converters may trigger a CEL (Check Engine Light). To disable a recurring CEL, you will need to tune the ECU or use O2 sensor extensions
