This High Performance Racing Exhaust System by CAPRISTO is designed for the Porsche 991 GT3 (2013-2015) and 991.1 GT3RS.
CAPRISTO’s high-performance system is engineered to deliver a balanced increase in power, driveability, and sound quality, all while significantly reducing weight. It embodies CAPRISTO’s best of both worlds philosophy, offering an aggressive exhaust note during acceleration and a more subdued tone for everyday driving.
Key Features:
-
Vacuum-Actuated Valve Flaps: These valves adjust based on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves remain closed for a deeper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle, they open to release the full symphony of the engine.
-
Backpressure-Controlled Valves: The included Valve Controller Remote allows you to manually control the flaps, keeping them open permanently if desired. When the system is set to automatic, the in-series control unit will manage the valve operation based on backpressure, giving you precise control over the exhaust sound to match your preferences.
-
Advanced Engineering: Each CAPRISTO exhaust system is manufactured using state-of-the-art 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling at CAPRISTO’s German factory. Constructed from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish, this alloy was selected for its superior sonic resonance, lightweight, and durability, closely mirroring the properties of Inconel used in F1.
Performance Headers:
- Optimized Design: The manifolds feature a bespoke design with modified pipe routing to maximize exhaust flow.
Sports Cats 250 Cell:
- High Flow Catalytic Converters: These converters feature a 250-cell substrate, engineered from the highest quality materials to improve airflow and boost performance. A lower cell count results in larger holes, enhancing the flow of exhaust gases. CAPRISTO Sports Cats are housed in 5.2-inch packages to maximize exhaust flow and optimize the operation of the valved exhaust system.
IMPORTANT:
- Installation: The system is designed to fit directly into existing OEM mounting points.
- Recommended For Off-Road and Track Use Only: Replacing OEM catalytic converters may trigger a CEL (Check Engine Light). To resolve this, you may need to tune the ECU or use O2 sensor extensions
