The CAPRISTO High-Performance Header System is engineered specifically for the Porsche 991.2 GT3RS, providing an exceptional balance between power, drivability, and sound quality, while also reducing weight. This system adheres to CAPRISTO's philosophy of delivering the best of both worlds: an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more refined sound for everyday driving.
ATTENTION:
- The underbody engine cover included with this kit is compatible only with the 991.2 GT3RS. For the 991.2 GT3, modifications are required to adapt the original underbody protection to accommodate the headers.
- It is recommended that 991.2 GT3 owners purchase the headers without the carbon fiber underbody protection for a smoother fitment.
Performance and Design: This high-performance exhaust system is built using state-of-the-art engineering techniques such as 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital Prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling at the CAPRISTO factory in Germany. Every component is crafted from T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel, which offers superior sonic resonance, durability, and light weight, similar to the characteristics of Inconel, a material used in Formula 1 racing.
Performance Headers: The manifolds feature a bespoke design and modified pipe routing compared to the stock manifolds, ensuring maximized exhaust flow for better performance and throttle response.
Integrated Sports Cats (250 Cell): The system comes equipped with high-performance sports catalytic converters featuring a 250-cell-per-square-inch substrate. This design is optimized to improve airflow and increase engine performance. The lower cell count allows for larger holes, promoting better exhaust gas flow.
To ensure maximum efficiency, the sports cats are housed in 5.2-inch packages, preventing any restrictions in exhaust gas flow and enhancing the performance of the valved exhaust system.
