The CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System is renowned for its dual-function capability, offering both an aggressive exhaust note during spirited driving and a more subtle, subdued tone for everyday city driving. This flexibility is achieved through valves controlled by the engine ECU, which manage exhaust flow based on driving conditions:
- Low-Speed/City Driving: The valves remain closed, creating a deeper and more refined exhaust note.
- Wide-Open Throttle: The valves open, allowing the engine's full exhaust note to be unleashed for a more exhilarating sound.
Valve Control Options:
- OEM Control: The CAPRISTO valves work directly with the original ECU settings, using the OEM vacuum pipes for a plug-and-play installation.
- Optional Programmable Remote Kit: For enhanced control, an optional remote kit can be installed. This allows you to manually control the exhaust valves, offering more flexibility based on personal preferences.
Compatibility:
- Rare Exceptions: In rare cases where some vehicles were not equipped with OEM exhaust valves, the CES-3 Remote Kit will be required to manage the valve system for proper functionality.
Manufacturing and Materials:
- CAPRISTO exhausts are meticulously engineered using advanced 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, and CNC-bending/milling at the company’s factory in Germany.
- Made from high-grade T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel, the system is lightweight, durable, and has superior sonic resonance properties, nearly equivalent to Inconel, a material commonly used in Formula 1.
- The exhaust is hand-polished to a mirror finish, providing a visually stunning appearance.
Installation:
