- OPF-Back Exhaust System: The facelifted R8 includes Otto Particle Filters (OPF) after the catalytic converters. This CAPRISTO system is designed to fit after the OPF, allowing for a free-flowing exhaust without modifying the filters.
- OPF Spare Pipes (Delete): For those seeking to eliminate the flow restriction caused by the OPF filters, OPF delete pipes are available separately. Note: Removing the OPF filters may trigger a CEL (Check Engine Light), which will require an ECU tune to resolve.
Exhaust Valve Control:
- The opening and closing of the exhaust valves are controlled by the vehicle's ECU, ensuring seamless integration with the R8's original exhaust system design.

This specific alloy was selected for its combination of light weight, sonic resonance properties, and durability—characteristics similar to Inconel, a material commonly used in Formula 1.
