The CAPRISTO High Performance System is designed to deliver a balanced enhancement in power, driveability, and sound quality, all while significantly reducing weight. This system embodies the CAPRISTO philosophy of offering the best of both worlds: an aggressive exhaust note during acceleration and a more subdued tone for everyday driving. Expect a power gain of approximately 8 HP.
Key Features:
-
Vacuum-Actuated Valve Flaps: These flaps adjust based on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves remain closed to produce a deeper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle, the valves open to unleash the engine's full symphony.
-
Backpressure-Controlled Valves: The included Valve Controller Remote allows you to manually control the flaps, enabling them to stay open permanently if desired. When the system is set to automatic, the in-series control unit will manage the valve operation, providing precise control over the exhaust sound according to your personal preferences.
Advanced Engineering:
- Precision Manufacturing: CAPRISTO exhaust systems are engineered and produced using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling at our factory in Germany. Each system is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. This specific alloy was chosen for its excellent sonic resonance, lightweight, and durability, closely resembling the properties of Inconel used in F1.
Sports Cats 250 Cell:
- High-Performance Catalytic Converters: These converters feature a 250-cell substrate, designed from the highest quality materials to improve airflow and boost performance. A lower cell count results in larger holes, enhancing the flow of exhaust gases. To maximize exhaust flow and optimize the operation of the valved exhaust system, CAPRISTO Sports Cats are housed in 5.2-inch packages.
IMPORTANT:
- Installation: The system is designed to fit directly into existing OEM mounting points.
- Usage Recommendation: Recommended for off-road and track use only. Replacing OEM catalytic converters may trigger a CEL (Check Engine Light). To resolve this, you may need to tune the ECU or use O2 sensor extensions
