This version of the Capristo test pipes includes custom hand-sewn heat blankets designed to reduce under-hood temperatures. These blankets protect surrounding components, such as body panels, hoses, and painted surfaces, from residual heat damage.
- Performance: These lightweight test pipes replace the heavy OEM catalytic converters, removing flow restrictions to boost horsepower. By eliminating the silencing effect of the converters, they produce a more aggressive engine sound, making them ideal for track days and racing.
- Design: On applicable models, the center section is flexible to guard against vibration damage to the header pipes. Pre-installed and threaded Lambda or Oxygen Sensor Bungs are included for easy installation.
- Material: Constructed from T309 (1.4828) stainless steel for exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and a hand-polished mirror finish.
IMPORTANT:
- CEL Warning: Installing these test pipes may trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL). To disable a recurring CEL, you will need to tune the ECU or use O2 sensor extensions.
- Usage: Recommended for off-road and track use only.
