Valvetronic Designs M340i valved exhaust

The Valvetronic Designs valved exhaust for the M340i / M440i (G2X) is our best-selling M340i exhaust. It keeps the factory valve control, so the car stays quiet on a cold start and opens up when you want it. Browse more in Valvetronic Designs exhaust.

AWE Touring and Track Edition

Choose the AWE Resonated Touring Edition for a refined tone, or the AWE Track Edition for maximum volume. Both come with quad chrome silver or diamond black tips, or in an OE-tip version. AWE conversion kits let you switch between Touring and Track later.

Remus M340i cat-back and axle-back

The Remus M340i cat-back exhaust is built for the GPF-equipped G20 M340i xDrive, with an axle-back option for a smaller budget.

IPE M340i valved cat-back

IPE builds separate systems for OPF and non-OPF cars: the IPE OPF cat-back and the IPE non-OPF cat-back.

Milltek M340i exhaust

Milltek offers the Milltek cat-back for the 2021+ G20 M340i in several tip finishes, plus axle-back systems and Milltek Active Valve Control.

FAQ

What is the best exhaust for the M340i?

It depends on the sound you want. A valved system such as Valvetronic Designs or IPE stays quiet when closed and gets loud when open. AWE Touring Edition is the refined choice, and AWE Track Edition is the loudest.

Does my M340i have an OPF/GPF?

OPF/GPF fitment depends on market and build date, so many systems come in both versions. Check the product title for OPF or non-OPF, or text us your VIN and we'll confirm.

Will an aftermarket exhaust work with my factory exhaust valves?

Valved systems such as Valvetronic Designs, IPE and AWE are designed to keep factory valve control. Each product page lists what is included.

Do I need a tune for an M340i cat-back?

No. A cat-back or axle-back exhaust doesn't need a tune. A downpipe does.
