The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for the 2017-2020 Toyota 86 gives the 2.0L FA20 a deeper, fuller boxer note with crackles, while keeping the cabin free of drone at cruising speeds. It fits the US Toyota 86 in Base and GT trim as well as the 2017 Special Edition, the 2019 TRD Special Edition and the 2020 Hakone Edition.

AWE engineered Touring for the owner who wants more character from the FA20 without giving up a quiet highway drive. A bullet-style resonator in the mid-pipe works with AWE's patented 180 Technology® rear resonators, which target drone-prone frequencies rather than restricting flow, and AWE says the internals will not degrade and change tone over time. The 3" and 2.5" mandrel-bent T304L stainless system is a direct bolt-on and finishes in 5" double-walled tips.

Is the AWE Touring exhaust legal on an 86?
AWE lists this cat-back as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

How loud is the AWE Touring exhaust on an 86?
It is louder and deeper than stock outside your 86, but AWE built it to stay free of interior drone at cruising speeds, and it is the quieter of AWE's two editions. AWE does not publish decibel figures.

How much horsepower does it add to a Toyota 86?
AWE does not publish a dyno result for the 2.0L FA20 in the Toyota 86. Its only published test is on the newer 2.4L FA24 car, so treat any horsepower claim for the FA20 with caution. What you get is a change in sound and a weight saving, not a quoted horsepower number.

Will it fit a 2017 Special Edition or a 2020 Hakone Edition 86?
Yes. It fits every 2017-2020 US Toyota 86, including the Base, GT, 2017 Special Edition, 2019 TRD Special Edition and 2020 Hakone Edition. For the 2022 and newer car, see the GR86 version.

Can I switch to the Track Edition later?
Yes. The AWE Touring-to-Track conversion kit swaps the rear section to the Track Edition setup.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.
