AWE Track Edition Exhaust for 2013-2020, 2022-2026 Subaru BRZ

The AWE Track Edition Exhaust is the loud option for the Subaru BRZ, covering the 2013-2020 first generation with the 2.0L FA20 and the 2022-2026 second generation with the 2.4L FA24. AWE describes its sound as rumble with minimal filter, in and out of the cabin, at all speeds.

For a BRZ that spends weekends at track days or autocross, Track Edition removes the rear 180 Technology® resonators and keeps only the bullet-style resonator in the mid-pipe. AWE lists the straight-through layout as 12 lbs lighter than stock. It is built from 3" and 2.5" mandrel-bent T304L stainless with 5" double-walled tips. AWE warns that it gets rowdy and may be too much for many drivers, and it cannot be returned for sound preference.

Is the AWE Track exhaust legal on a BRZ?
AWE lists this cat-back as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

How loud is the AWE Track exhaust on a BRZ?
Loud. It is the louder of AWE's two editions for the BRZ, with rumble at all speeds both inside and outside the cabin, and AWE says it may be too much for many drivers. AWE does not publish decibel figures.

How much horsepower does it add to a Subaru BRZ?
AWE does not publish a Track Edition dyno result for either BRZ generation. Its only published test is the Touring Edition on a 2022 BRZ: 225 whp stock and 227 whp with the exhaust.

Does one part number fit both BRZ generations?
Yes. AWE uses the same part number for the 2013-2020 BRZ with the 2.0L FA20 and the 2022-2026 BRZ with the 2.4L FA24, across Premium, Limited and tS trims and special editions such as Series.Blue, HyperBlue, Series.Yellow and Series.Gray. There was no 2021 US BRZ.

Can I switch to the Touring Edition later?
Yes. The AWE Track-to-Touring conversion kit adds the Touring Edition rear section with 180 Technology resonators.
