AWE Touring-to-Track Conversion Kit for 2013-2016 Scion FR-S

The AWE Touring-to-Track Conversion Kit lets a 2013-2016 Scion FR-S owner with the AWE Touring Edition exhaust step up to the Track Edition sound by changing a single section. The rear 180 Technology® axle-back unbolts, and the Track Edition straight section with its Y-pipe takes its place.

For an FR-S that now sees more autocross or track time than highway miles, this is the cheaper route to the louder system. The 2.0L FA20 loses the rear filtering and gets a rawer, more present boxer sound. Everything else from your Touring system, including the mid-pipe resonator, stays on the car. Construction matches the rest of the AWE exhaust: .065" wall T304L stainless, built by AWE in the USA.

Will this kit fit a stock or non-AWE exhaust on my FR-S?
No. It is designed to convert an AWE Touring Edition cat-back that is already on the car. If you do not have an AWE system yet, the AWE Track Edition Exhaust for the Scion FR-S is the complete system.

What changes on the car?
Only the rear section. The mid-pipe with its bullet-style resonator stays in place, and the kit bolts to the rest of your AWE Touring Edition system.

How will my FR-S sound after the swap?
Louder. Your FR-S will sound like the AWE Track Edition: rumble at all speeds, inside and outside the cabin. AWE says Track can be too much for many drivers. AWE does not publish decibel figures.

Is it legal?
AWE lists this kit as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Can I go back later?
Yes. The AWE Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit for the Scion FR-S reverses the change.
