AWE Touring-to-Track Conversion Kit for 2013-2020, 2022-2026 Subaru BRZ

This AWE kit turns an AWE Touring Edition cat-back on a Subaru BRZ into a Track Edition system. It covers both BRZ generations, the 2013-2020 car with the 2.0L FA20 and the 2022-2026 car with the 2.4L FA24, because AWE uses the same exhaust layout and part number across them.

The job is a single swap at the back of the car. The 180 Technology® axle-back section with its rear resonators comes out, and the Track Edition straight section with a Y-pipe goes in, which removes the part of the Touring system that filters drone. Expect a louder, more direct boxer sound in and out of the cabin. Like the rest of the AWE system it is .065" wall T304L stainless, and it carries AWE's lifetime warranty and No Check Engine Light Guarantee.

Will this kit fit a stock or non-AWE exhaust on my BRZ?
No. It is designed to convert an AWE Touring Edition cat-back that is already on the car. If you do not have an AWE system yet, the AWE Track Edition Exhaust for the Subaru BRZ is the complete system.

What changes on the car?
Only the rear section. The mid-pipe with its bullet-style resonator stays in place, and the kit bolts to the rest of your AWE Touring Edition system.

How will my BRZ sound after the swap?
Louder. Your BRZ will sound like the AWE Track Edition: rumble at all speeds, inside and outside the cabin. AWE says Track can be too much for many drivers. AWE does not publish decibel figures.

Is it legal?
AWE lists this kit as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Can I go back later?
Yes. The AWE Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit for the Subaru BRZ reverses the change.
