AWE Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit for 2022-2026 Toyota GR86

The AWE Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit is for 2022-2026 Toyota GR86 owners running the AWE Track Edition who want the highway drone gone without losing the AWE sound. It swaps the Track Edition straight rear section for AWE's patented 180 Technology® resonators, which turns the system into a Touring Edition.

AWE says Touring keeps a deep, hearty FA24 rumble with crackles outside the car while cancelling drone at cruising speeds, and the 180 Technology internals will not break down and change tone over time. Tips are not included because you already have them: your existing AWE tips move over to the new section. The kit is T304L stainless, made by AWE in the USA, and bolts straight in with no tune.

Will this kit fit a stock or non-AWE exhaust on my GR86?
No. It is designed to convert an AWE Track Edition cat-back that is already on the car. If you do not have an AWE system yet, the AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for the Toyota GR86 is the complete system.

What changes on the car?
Only the rear section. The mid-pipe with its bullet-style resonator stays in place, and the kit bolts to the rest of your AWE Track Edition system.

Do I need new tips?
No. Tips are not included with this kit because you already have them. Your existing AWE tips move over to the new rear section.

How will my GR86 sound after the swap?
Quieter in the cabin. Your GR86 will sound like the AWE Touring Edition: louder and deeper than stock outside, without interior drone at cruise. AWE does not publish decibel figures.

Is it legal?
AWE lists this kit as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Can I go back later?
Yes. The AWE Touring-to-Track Conversion Kit for the Toyota GR86 reverses the change.
